Terms of Use

The conditions that apply to this independent and unofficial OnePassword fan website.

Last updated: October 7, 2026. onepassword-login.com is an independent, fan-created information website published by a small group of OnePassword users and enthusiasts. It is not owned, operated, sponsored, represented, approved, monitored, or endorsed by AgileBits Inc., the company behind OnePassword, or by any of its affiliates, distributors, or partners. OnePassword and all related product names, logos, interfaces, and trade marks belong to their respective owners and appear on these pages only to identify the subject of an independent discussion.

This is not an official OnePassword website

This point is the most important statement on this entire website, so we make it plainly. We are fans and users of the software who write about it. We are not the software publisher, a distributor, an authorised reseller, a subscription provider, a customer portal, or an accredited support partner. Nothing on these pages should be read as a statement, announcement, or instruction from AgileBits Inc. Official apps, release notes, subscription terms, security advisories, compatibility details, billing help, and legitimate technical support must always be obtained from OnePassword itself or from a source OnePassword designates.

This distinction matters for your safety as well as for accuracy. Our domain, our pages, our postal address, and our contact address have no connection whatsoever to any OnePassword account, vault, or subscription. Anyone who asks you to "verify your vault" through us, to enter your master password on a page we control, or to share credentials as part of a support conversation is attempting to gain access to your accounts. Treat such a request as an attempted intrusion and report the page.

No access to accounts, vaults, or subscriptions

This website does not provide access to any OnePassword account, vault, or subscription. We do not ask for, receive, store, verify, or reset master passwords, Secret Keys, recovery codes, or vault exports. We have no ability to unlock an account, restore a vault, change billing details, or sign a device out on your behalf.

Only the genuine OnePassword app, obtained from the vendor's own channels and configured with your own credentials, can open your encrypted data. We are not able to verify an account, and we will never ask you to prove your identity to us. If anyone contacts you claiming to represent this website and requests your master password, Secret Key, or vault data, treat the entire conversation as hostile and report it to OnePassword's support team.

Educational purpose

Our articles explain general concepts: how an encrypted vault works, why the Secret Key matters, how passkeys and one-time codes fit together, how sync behaves across devices, and how to diagnose common login problems in a sensible order. They are general education rather than configuration instructions for a specific account, professional security advice, or a guarantee that a particular plan or feature will suit your situation.

Versions, features, pricing, and vendor policy change regularly. Current official documentation always takes priority over anything written here, including articles we have already published and would be glad to correct on request. Where this site and OnePassword disagree, OnePassword is right and this page is out of date.

Acceptable use

Use this site only with accounts, devices, and data you are authorised to access or manage. Do not attempt to use the site to break into any account or vault, defeat encryption, bypass two-factor authentication, probe infrastructure you do not own, scrape the site at scale, or interfere with its operation. Automated abuse of any kind is prohibited.

Users remain solely responsible for their own security: choosing a strong master password, safeguarding the Emergency Kit, enabling two-factor authentication, and following their organisation's own policies. A password vault is a doorway to your entire digital life, and protecting its key is a responsibility you carry on your own behalf and your employer's.

Accuracy and availability

We aim to publish original, careful, and readable material, but we cannot guarantee that every statement is complete, current, or error-free. Descriptions of behaviour may lag behind a release, plan details may differ by region, and app interfaces may change without notice. Descriptions in our articles should be treated as orientation, not as exact instructions, and no article here should be your only source for an important procedure.

The site may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We do not offer any uptime commitment and recommend that you never depend on a third-party fan website as part of a working security routine.

External links

Links to other websites are provided for context or convenience. We do not control their content, availability, files, cookies, security practices, or privacy policies, and a link does not imply a partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement. Check the destination domain carefully before installing software, entering credentials, or trusting any page that asks you to hand over anything sensitive — a rule that matters even more when the page claims to be a login.

Intellectual property

Our original editorial text and site design may not be republished wholesale, presented as official documentation, or used in a way that misrepresents a relationship with AgileBits Inc. Limited quotation may be permitted by applicable law when attributed accurately and fairly. Third-party trademarks, product names, and materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used under applicable permissions or fair-use principles.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of this site are not liable for data loss, account loss, security incidents, unauthorised access, business interruption, lost profit, lost work, or any other direct or indirect consequence arising from the use of this site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that applicable law does not permit us to exclude, and nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.

Privacy, changes, and contact

Our Privacy Policy describes our limited processing of technical data and contact messages. Never send master passwords, Secret Keys, recovery codes, or vault exports — not in an email, not through the contact form, and not in any conversation with our team.

We may revise these terms when the site, our content, or applicable requirements change, and the date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use of the website after publication means that the current version applies. Questions about this independent website may be sent to support@onepassword-login.com.
